PARADIGMA Blickwechsel 6.0 LANDSCHAF(F)T

Group exhibition photography, painting, graphic art, sculpture at Tapetenwerk, Leipzig

Photographic works, which traditionally form the focus of the exhibition, are juxtaposed with contemporary works from the fields of painting, graphics and sculpture. In 2021, the focus will be on the exchange between city and country: Leipzig artists who deal with the landscape as a genre and/or the changed working world in the countryside will enter into a dialogue with the themes, working methods and realizations of artists who have found their center of life in the countryside. The resulting synergies and contacts are to be sustainably expanded in further projects, including joint symposia and traveling exhibitions in rural areas.

“The position that non-human animals occupy in our cultural imagination is proof for how easy it is to accept the lower status of some beings without even a second thought.”
